We rode the Lighthouse Century starting in San Luis Obisbo in an up and back route to Piedras Blancas Lighthouse. We have not been riding a lot and we could have opted for the Metric Century (66 miles). We had to decide at 36 miles but felt good enough to keep going. It was unseasonably hot and the last 20 miles were pretty tough. There were many tandems which was nice to see.
We stayed at the Bridge Creek Inn, a great two room bed and breakfast located in the Edna Valley.
I would like to do a couple more next year. Maybe Solvang or Palm Springs.
